2022 USSHBA AWARD

Being presented with the USSHBA leading breeder award at the Young Horse Show Finals with Khaleesi (Larino X Outlaw Love) filling in as representative.

It was an Honor to receive the leading breeder award sponsored by the United States Sport Horse Breeder Association for the Young Horse Show Series.

The Young Horse Show Series put on 7 qualifying competitions throughout the country in 2022 with the qualifier in Sedalia being the first of the year. There was a great turnout including a very strong and exciting yearling class of 14. Our yearlings Rivendell MF (Coronet Obolensky X Burggraaf) and Rubaiyat MF (Emerald van’t Ruytershoff X Alphabet Soup xx) lead the class with fantastic scores of 8.80 and 8.68 respectively. Theese scores when added up put us at the top of the leading breeder list, and to our delight, we remained on top after all 7 qualifying competitions had completed.

Marian traveled to the last qualifier and subsequent Young Horse Show Finals in Tryon, North Carolina to assist Jean-Yves Tola as staff and to put real faces to all of the people we’ve been interacting with on Social Media. It was the best icing on the cake to be awarded with Leading breeder from the USSHBA. As an added bonus, we got to cheer on Michalson Farm bred Khaleesi (Lorino X Outlaw Love) as she competed in the Tequestrian Derby.
