Canasta has been a consistent producer of high quality jumpers.

  1. 2014 gelding Jenuine Legacy MF by Emilion. He was awarded Ster and top jumper bred gelding with NA-KWPN as a 3yo, won the Global Equine Sires Cup on the keuring tour at 3yo, Scored 84.5 in the IBOP as a 5yo, competed in 1.35m at 7, and is now leased out and happily teaching riders in the Child/Adult jumpers and has shown hunters.

  2. 2017 mare Mirabilis by Emilion has been retained by Michalson Farm as a personal show horse and future broodmare. She is a replica of her older brother, super brain and lots of scope. She won her classes as a 4yo in her qualifier for the Young Horse Show series. Distance to Keurings and shows, and COVID has limited her exposure.

  3. 2018 gelding Night Train MF by Emerald Van’t Ruytershoff Is a big boned, superb minded with tons of scope. He won both his classes in the 3yo’s at the Young Horse Show qualifier before being sold to his amateur adult to be developed while she’s in college.

  4. 2021 filly Rivendell MF by Coronet Obolensky. This filly scored 8.9 and won her yearling class out of 14 at the Young Horse Show series qualifier with several 9’s scattered on her score sheet. She’s a big mover, confident and bold with the conformation to make a top level horse. She will likely be retained by Michalson Farm.

  5. 2022 gelding by Emerald Van’t Ruytershoff sold in utero to the owner of Canasta’s first foal Jenuine Legacy, which says a lot about this mare’s offspring to have a repeat buyer. We can already picture galloping up to a big jump with this colts perfect Canter!
